Integrating with Project that uses Cocoapods

Dan Jul 03, 2015

Hi,

We are having a similar issue that was posted here (http://support.catchoom.com/customer/portal/questions/11518919-issue-in-app-ar-integration) and here (http://support.catchoom.com/customer/portal/questions/11528516-issue-in-app-ar-integration).

Our project is already using Cocoapods to manage the dependencies for third party SDKs, and when we try to include the mentioned version of AFNetworking - v2.0.3 - it failed to compile due to changes in iOS. If we try to use a higher version of AFNetworking we get errors about classes that look like they may have been removed from later versions.

Is the version supplied in the Pods.framework the same as the git repository? And do you have plans to release a Cocoapod version of your SDK?

Thanks

Dan

Hello Dan,

Let me share our podfile dependencies:

pod ‘AFDownloadRequestOperation’, ‘2.0.1’

We use AFDownloadRequestOperation, which depends on AFNetworking. Maybe the errors you get is because you are missing this pod.

Responding to your last question, we don’t have immediate plans to offer the SDK in a Cocoapod but this is something we may consider in the future.

Hi Luis

If your project is using CocoaPods for dependency management, then your project should be distributed as a CocoaPod also.
