3D Model in Collection Item through Management API results in error during On-Device Bundle creation

Hello,

I am trying to create an on-device bundle through the management API. This works fine with videos and everything, but there seems to be something I am doing wrong in regards to adding a 3d model to a scene. Just for quick reference, this is the contents_v2 json that is passed for the model data (redacted URLs):

which as far as I can find, is everything that needs to be sent. I have verified the model file works for CraftAR by manually uploading into the media library and placing it manually into an item. However when this happens through the management API it always results in an error for the item where the model is being placed into during the generation process.

Hi Michael,

The item in question seems to have been deleted from your end so it’s hard for me to review the reason for the processing error. Could you test with a new item?

Hello,

apparently this issue resolved itself while debugging a problem for iOS where videos did not load unless I included a (self-generated) UUID and MEDIA_UUID for content items. For unknown reasons this also resolves the 3D models not being processed problem.

This is a serious problem, since nowhere in the documentation is there any mention of these and I only found the problem after comparing the output of the .zip file .json file from the CraftAR Editor and the Management API.

Sorry for the initial confusion. The issue didn’t resolve itself, it was a bug on our end and thanks to your message we identified it and resolved it, we just hadn’t matched the error message we got to your Support Case.
