By now we only have the AR SDK for Unity. This SDK does not include the on-device image recognition, so all the recognition process is done in the cloud and it needs internet connection. But if what you want is to run an AR app off-line you can do it.
First of all, go to mycraftar and download the latest version of the Unity AR SDK. When you import the unitypackage to the project check the examples. There is one example called OnDeviceAR that can be run off-line because it doesn’t use the search module. It sets a collection you have downloaded and embed to he project before, and then it adds all the items to the scene. Once they are added they are ready to be tracked.
I’d suggest not no add a collection with more than 20 items, or if you do it, make sure you filter the ones that you want to add.
If you are interested in the on-device search for Unity, we are excited to announce that we are planning to release the Unity Pro SDK (which will include this module) during this week, so stay tuned!
