Sowmiya May 11, 2017

I have website which has images. Is it possible to use those images through URL for AR recognition without uploading it in CraftAR collection.

Thanks
Sowmiya

Hi Sowmiya,

Your images need to be in a CraftAR collection so that we can process them for use with our SDKs. As an option you can download the images from the URL and add them to a CraftAR collection programmatically using any of our Management API Libraries available here.

Thanks Kristoffer for providing solution.

I downloaded PHP code for Management API access and tried it. I installed composer,but when i execute composer libraries are not getting installed.

So I exceuted example.php code without inporting libraries, it throwed error in this line

$response = $management->createCollection("My cool collection");

Since I am new to PHP, I couldn't resolve this issue. Could you please suggest me the way to resolve error.

Current I have installed wamp64 bit with Php 7 version.

Thanks

Hi Sowmiya,

Could you send me the error you’re getting from the “$response = $management→createCollection(”My cool collection");" line?

Thanks Kristoffer.

I have changed the API key to my own key and the error in $response = $management->createCollection("My cool collection"); line has gone now.

But I am getting an error "Trying to get property of non object in "/example.php" on line 27". The same error occurs in line number 27,28,40,45. The code in those lines are

#27 $response = $management->getTokenListByCollection($collection->uuid);

#28 $token = $response->getBody()->objects[0]->token;

#40 $response = $management->createItem($collection->uuid, $name, $optionalData);

#45 $response = $management->createImage($item->uuid, "./images/reference/Shopping-cart.png");

Kindly help me to resolve this error.

Thanks

Hi Sowmiya,

It’s quite possible that the response you are getting while creating the Collection is an error since on a Free plan you can only have one collection at a time. When running the example.php make sure that you don’t have any collections in your account.

Kristoffer
