iOS low FPS while searching for objects

Hello. We're developing a native iOS app with the CraftAR library. When we build the project on real device and launch it, the camera view seems to have quite low FPS (looks laggy when moving the camera) until detection reaches timeout.
The example that you provide behaves the same. We've tried on several different Apple devices and they all seem to have that low FPS.
Meanwhile Android library works perfectly on all devices.
Is this normal behaviour? Would it be possible to somehow optimize the iOS library performance?
