Informations About Limits

ALEX APARECIDO Jun 21, 2016

I was reading the terms of service and I would like to know more information about the limits and the support to the platform.

* Which one is the limit to the recognition API (20 visual scan requests per second or 10 visual scan requests per second (3000 req / 5 min))? In the terms of services there are the following rules:
** 1) Recognition API has a limit (request cap) of 20 visual scan requests per second from a single IP address. The excess requests may be discarded and responded with an adequate HTTP status code.
** 2) Recognition API has a limit (request cap) of 3000 visual scan requests in 5 minutes from each account. The excess requests may be discarded and responded with an adequate HTTP status code.
* Is this limitation for all plans or each plan is there a different limitation? Can we change this limitation if we will have more requests in the campaign?
* If I have a problem with the platform (high availability and high scalability), how we contact the Catchoom's team? Is there a SLA (Service Level Agreement) to put the platform up and running again?

Our service runs accordingly to our ToS available here.
For a more dedicated SLA, this is only available in Pro plans. Please contact our sales team to discuss it.
Note that some of the API Limits are still applicable in most cases as those are designed to prevent events such as malicious attacks or client scripts that are generating artificial traffic due to wrong implementations.

Hi Jacob,

We provide 1000 visual scans for trial accounts. These 1000 scans are not monthly so they’re not renewed at any time and once they’ve been used up you need a paid plan to get more scans.

Cheers,
Kristoffer
